Brandon and Adrienne Sturdivant were united in marriage in a outdoor country ceremony Aug. 24 in Glady officiated by pastor Terry Cannon.

The bride is the daughter of William and Sheila Sparks of Morgantown and the granddaughter of James and Patricia Simmons of Arbovale and David and Evelyn Sparks of Marlinton.

The bridegroom is the son of Don and Carolyn Sturdivant and the grandson of Leah Taylor.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a diamond-white beaded gown with lace bottom and cowboy boots.

Serving as maids of honor were Alisha Doyle, sister of the bride; and Kacie Newlon, Amanda Riffle and Kelly Stocks, all best friends of the bride.

Serving as best man was JR Nesbitt along with groomsmen, Steve Shrader, Ricky Doyle and Michael Bonnett.

The couple had four flower girls, Braelynn Sparks, daughter of the bride; Haylie and Lillian Doyle; and Ava Sparks.

Serving as ring bearers were Chase Doyle, nephew; and Landon Conaway, bride's friend.

After the ceremony, family and friends joined the couple for a dinner reception in the barn where there was a country band, barbecue and good times.

The couple will reside in Elkins.
