Alexis LeAnn Bodkins

Alexis LeAnn Bodkins has been appointed by Director General Cricket Leary to be a princess in the 77th Mountain State Forest Festival. She is the daughter of Ronnie and Wendy Bodkins of Belington.

She has one sister, Abagail, and one brother, Bryson Bodkins. She is the granddaughter of Kate Bodkins of Norton and Rev. Gary and Dotty Phillips of Beverly and Janet Lee Giebel of Elkins.

Princess Bodkins is a graduate of Elkins High School with the class of 2013, where she was on the honor roll and member of the National Honor Society, was a West Virginia Governor's Honor Society nominee, was a three-year basketball player, volunteered with the Red Cross blood drives and Girls on the Run.

Alexis will be attending West Virginia Wesleyan College this fall studying biology and later plans to further her education by going to medical school to become a radiologist.
