MILL CREEK - The Bulldogs of Tygarts Valley High fell to the visiting fourth-ranked Cougars of East Hardy Friday night by a final of 36-3.
The home team kept it close into the second quarter but could not keep up with the Cougars' passing attack.
After both teams had drives stall, East Hardy took possession after an Owen Arbogast interception at the TV 48-yard line. The Cougars moved the ball downfield, and with 5:27 on the first-quarter clock, East Hardy's Cole Collier hit Tyler Murphy in stride from 30 yards out for the game's first score. The two-point conversion failed.
