Harman students build Forest Festival float

October 7, 2013
The Inter-Mountain

Harman School almost lost its vo-ag program this year, but thanks to the Randolph County Board of Education, a half-time position was saved at the last minute. This year's Mountain State Forest Festival theme is "Old traditions with new beginnings," and it could have been written just for Harman.

The floats created by our past vo-ag teacher Donley Teter won many awards over the year. This year, Mr. Teter arrived at the school with the wagon in tow, while the new teacher, Emma Yohn, began planning this year's float with her students.
