A 35-year-old male who was reported missing in the Spruce Knob area of Pendleton County Monday was found late Tuesday morning, authorities said.
The man, whose name had not been released by officials at presstime, was last seen around 2 p.m. on Monday, according to Bruce Minor, director of emergency management in Pendleton County.
The missing man was located around 11:40 a.m. Tuesday near the Seneca Trail area by officers with the West Virginia State Police, officials said. He suffered no injuries, police said.
The Pendleton County Sheriff's Office, the Circle Hill Fire Department, the Seneca Fire Department and the Pendleton County Tactical Skills Team also contributed to the rescue effort.
