ELKINS - Cedarville (Ohio) claimed the G-MAC men's soccer championship with a 4-3 victory in penalty kicks over Davis & Elkins Saturday at Nuttall Field.
Neither team could find the back of the net in regulation or overtime, setting up the shootout stage. Each team made three of its first four attempts before the Jackets' Zach Harris drove home the game-winning kick.
The Senators held a 14-11 advantage in shots, with each team placing eight shots on goal.

Cameron Rivera and Cedarville's Ethan Dewhurst were each outstanding in net, making seven saves during the 110 minutes of game action.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Davis &?Elkins claimed the G-MAC women's soccer title with a 2-1 overtime win against Ursuline on Saturday.
The Senators netted the winning tally when the Arrows were unable to clear the ball and a push from the wind landed the ball in goal.
Ursuline took a 1-0 lead in the first half on a goal by Cassie Cripe.
D&E tied the game in the 48th minute when Laia Dordas took a header into the box from Marisa Morris and then chipped it over the reach of Ursuline goalkeeper Helen Jazzar.
The victory was D&E's first G-MAC title as it is a newcomer to the conference in 2013-14.
It also prevented Ursuline from winning its first-ever soccer conference championship, despite playing in three straight tournament finals in the last three seasons.
