ELKINS - Middle and high school students at the Elkins Christian Academy have been busy crafting gifts for the school's second Christmas Bazaar.
The event is scheduled in the school's gymnasium in Glenmore Acres from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
"We are thrilled that we filled all of our spaces this year," Sharon Cross, administrative assistant, said. "This year we have double the amount of crafters as last year, offering a wide variety of crafts and food items."

Students at the Elkins Christian Academy put the finishing touches on candy sleds, including, from left, Alexa Wiseman, Johnna Figueroa, Alaina Figueroa, Summer Cooper, Destiny Yeager, Caleb Warner and Bobby Henline.
The bazaar will feature more than 35 crafters selling a wide variety of items, including primitives, candy, cookies, hair accessories, jewelry, etchings, crochet items, hand-made soaps and many more items. This event will benefit numerous education enrichment opportunities planned for the 2013-2014 school year.
Cross said the school will be selling hot dogs with Phoebe Ramsey's famous hot dog chili, pepperoni rolls, cookies, cakes, breads and home-made soups. She said all food items are available for eat-in or carry out.
"We hope everyone will stop by and help support our school and area crafters," Cross said. "It will be a fun time for all."
The Inter-Mountain will be selling items at the Christmas Bazaar including coffee mugs, comic strip umbrellas and West Virginia University newspaper tubes.
