PHILIPPI - Senior guard Jimmy Galusky scored 13 of his game-high 28 points in the third quarter to lead Preston to an 84-54 win over Philip Barbour Tuesday night in Big 10 Conference action.
The Knights (8-5, 6-1 Big 10) led 36-23 at halftime before the Colts rallied to cut the deficit to eight points in the third quarter.
But behind Galusky's scoring and 3-point shooting from Jarod Ringer, Preston erupted for 29 points in the frame to take a 65-43 cushion after three quarters.

Ringer hit four treys in the quarter and finished with 17 points. Brandon Black also reached double figures for the Knights with 12.
Freshman Spencer Hudkins, Joey Anglin and Chris Neville each had 10 points for the Colts, who dropped to 3-12 and 3-7. Caleb Hawkins added nine points.
Philip Barbour will return to action at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Liberty for a league contest.
The Knights will entertain Morgantown at 7:30 p.m. today.
