DUNMORE - Evan Arrington and Logan Cooper exploded on offense to help Pendleton County romp Pocahontas County, 72-35, Tuesday night in Potomac Valley Conference action.
Arrington paced Pendleton with 24 points. Logan Cooper added 23 points. Arrington and Cooper also had six rebounds and four assists each.
Cody Lambert contributed 12 points and dished out eight assists.
For the Warriors, J.D. Hemsler scored nine points. Ryan Dilly added eight points.
"We were coming off a tough loss at Tucker County (on Saturday)," Wildcats coach Ryan Lambert said. "We didn't want this to be a trap game. We talked all week about being able to get up for this game on the road. We came out with a lot of intensity and carried it throughout. The guys had a sense of urgency and won this game on the defensive side."
Pendleton (11-4) will host Tucker County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pocahontas County (6-6) is slated to visit Webster County at 7:30 p.m. today.

LOST CREEK - Casey Elza and Kameron Shifflett hit double digits in scoring to push Harman past South Harrison, 57-43, on Tuesday night.
"We had a great team effort," Panthers coach Fred Davis said. "The defense stepped up their game and that's why we won. We didn't turn the ball over so much. The bad weather got us in a slump. We're starting to get back in shape. The winter really killed us. We're finally starting to get back to where we need to be."
Elza tallied 23 points, 15 rebounds and five blocked shots. Shifflett had 20 points and six assists.
For the Hawks, Zak Wentz scored 20 points. Dylan Smith and Jacob Montgomery added eight points each.
Harman will travel to Union at 6 p.m. Saturday.
