James "Jim" Willis Roush, Jr., 69, of Stony Bottom went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2014.
Born June 9, 1944, at Charleston, he was a son of the late James Sr. and Lenora Gay Roush.
James was a graduate of Dunbar High School and was a member of the Army 82nd Airborne, and a long time employee of Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, James Roush Sr. and Lenora Roush Totten; and sister, Brenda Roush Morris.
He is survived by his wife, April Turner Roush; sons, James E. Roush and girlfriend, Monica L. Kerschbaumer, Robert Roe Roush and fiance, Shelby A. McCauley, all of Stony Bottom; sisters, Lora Roush Colla and husband, Nick, of Youngstown, Ohio, Sharon Roush Cobb and husband, Homer, of South Charleston; and numerous, aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.
A celebration of Jim's life will be held at Alexander Memorial at 1 p.m. on March 29, with graveside services to follow. Services conducted by the Rev. Gary Pickens and the Rev. Gary Price.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 28, from 6-9 p.m. at Alexander Memorial Presbyterian Church in Stony Bottom.
