Dorothy Jean Lewis, 69, of Buckhannon, died Thursday, March 27, 2014, at her home.
She was born April 16, 1944, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Edward and Jean Ramey Teets.
On March 19, 1963, she married Thomas Lee Lewis, who preceded her in death on Sept. 13, 2006.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Allen Lewis and Thomas Lee Lewis Jr.
She is survived by two daughters, Drema Mutum of Fairmont and Lisa Thompson and husband, Steve, of Tennessee; one son, Daniel Ray Lewis and wife, Leann, of Missouri; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Edward Teets Jr. of Kentucky and George and James Teets, both of Fairmont.
Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker and Methodist by faith.
Friends will be received Wednesday, April 2, 2014, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday from the funeral home with the Rev. Josie Tenney officiating. Burial will follow in the Upshur County Memorial Park in Tennerton.
