Bulldogs best Bath County

HOT?SPRINGS, Va. – Tygarts Valley defeated Bath County (Va.) Tuesday in prep golf action.

The Bulldogs finished with a 185 to earn a three-stroke victory. Casey Martel was low medalist with a score of 42 for Tygarts Valley, followed by Alex Hinzman (44), Jared Wegman (49), Cody Grimmett (50) and Davey Ratzer (56).

Josh Chestnut and Noah Burns both shot 45s for Bath County.

“We’ve recorded our season low on three consecutive matches, so that is good,” Bulldog coach Mitch Channell said. “Any one of our top four can be low medalist on any given night. We haven’t put it all together on any single night, but when we do, it’s going to be special.”

Tygarts Valley will return to action Thursday against Tucker Valley in a match at Canaan Valley.
