The Colors Against Cancer 5k Run/Walk is a partnership between Alderson Broaddus University organizations (Athletic Training Club, AB Intramurals, and the AB Relay for Life Team) in order to raise awareness and funds to fight cancer.

A memorial service will take place in the Quad at 11:45 a.m. Then participants will run/walk the 5K, which will educate them about the different types of cancer but also promote camaraderie among community members.

Throughout the race. participants will be bombarded with colors representing different cancer awareness programs and then will be doused in the blue and gold AB colors at the end of the race. After the event, participants are encouraged to go cheer for the Battlers at the AB men’s soccer game.
