D&E, ’Cats and Battlers lose road tilts
SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – No. 8 Notre Dame scored three unanswered second-half goals to claim a 5-1 win over Davis & Elkins on Wednesday afternoon.
Reyma Klochko-Kahoo and Renan Troccoli each scored first-half goals to give the Falcons a 2-0 lead at the break.
The Senators’ Oliver Bienias found the back of the net two minutes into the second half to cut the deficit to 2-1. Adam Mitchell added a pair of goals for Notre Dame (3-0-0), and Mitch Griffiths added one to make it a four-goal cushion at game’s end.
D&E held a 6-5 advantage in shots for the first 45 minutes, but was outshot 11-6 in the second half.
The Senators (0-2-1) will travel to Millersville at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Shippensburg, Pa. -Wesleyan dropped a 2-1 decision to Shippensburg on Wednesday.
Derrick Roy gave the Raiders a 1-0 advantage before the Bobcats answered in the 15th minute when Joe Ferraracci assisted Ante Susic’s first goal of the season.
Shippensburg took the lead for good in the 74th minute on a score by Casey Bellamy.
Wesleyan (1-1-1) will travel to Concord at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Charleston 2, ABU 0
CHARLESTON – The University of Charleston moved to 2-1 on the season after shutting out Alderson Broaddus University 2-0 Wednesday evening at Schoenbaum Stadium.
The Golden Eagles took a 1-0 advantage in the 23rd minute on a score by Conor Branson.
UC made it 2-0 in the 53rd minute when Jules ?Gabbiadini found the net off assists by Augusto Maciel and Lewis Osborne.
ABU (1-2) will entertain California (Pa.) at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
