ABU men picked to finish third in league

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Alderson Broaddus University has been tabbed to finish third in the G-MAC preseason basketball poll.

The Battlers, playing in their first season in the league, return Adam Kline, who averaged 7.5 points and 6.0 boards per game last year. Malcolm Tatum also is back after leading the team in assists last year with 84.

The Battlers will open the season Saturday at home against Glenville State.

Kentucky Wesleyan was picked to win the conference, followed by Cedarville, Ohio, AB, Central State and Trevecca Nazarene to round out the top five.
