Lewis County defeats B-UHS

WESTON – Brooklyn Perkey scored 15 points to lift Lewis County past Buckhannon Upshur, 57-39, in Big 10 Conference action.

“In the first half, we had trouble getting the ball to go into the basket,” B-U coach Tristen Gray said. “Our looks were there, but they wouldn’t fall. Lewis dictated the game on offense. I have to give them credit. They hit the shots when they had to. We will learn from this and let it fuel us for next week.”
