PHILIPPI – Davis & Elkins claimed a 4-3 win in the second game of a doubleheader to salvage a split against G-MAC foe Alderson Broaddus Saturday at Jack Funk Field.

Matt Moceri’s RBI single in the ninth proved to be the winning hit for the Senators.

Tyler Honeycutt (4-1) went 8 1/3 innings to earn the win. Christian Scott finished in relief to earn the save.

The Battlers, who swept Friday’s doubleheader with D&E, took the first game, 6-4, rallying from a 4-0 deficit.
