INDIANAPOLIS — Alderson Broaddus senior safety Malcolm Lee was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference defensive player of the week for the eighth week of the 2016 season.

JJ Ogbogu scored an 18-yard touchdown for the Tigers on the next drive to make it 31-7 before the Battlers scored one final time as Malik Dean scored from one-yard out to make it 38-7 midway through the fourth quarter.

With just under five minutes to play, Georgetown took over following a muffed AB punt and after a Battler penalty, the Tigers’ drive continued and they scored their second touchdown of the game when Ross Cox rushed in a touchdown with 3:30 to play.
