39 indicted in Upshur County

BUCKHANNON — An Upshur County grand jury returned indictments against 39 people this week for charges including child abuse, sexual abuse and wanton endangerment.

• Christopher Scott Harder, 21, of Ranson, was indicted on one felony count of child abuse resulting in injury.

• Terry Wayne Hinkle, 30, of Crawford, was indicted on one felony count of sexual abuse in the first degree.

• Kenneth Lee Bevans Jr., 21, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony count of wanton endangerment, one felony count of nighttime burglary, one felony count of daytime burglary and one misdemeanor count of petit larceny.

• Reggie Joe McClain, 40, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony count of fleeing in a vehicle with reckless indifference, one felony count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, one felony count of persons prohibited from possessing a concealed firearm, one misdemeanor count of harassing phone call, one misdemeanor count of violation of a protective order, one misdemeanor count of persons prohibited possessing firearms, one misdemeanor count of fleeing from officer, one misdemeanor count of reckless driving resulting in injury and one misdemeanor count of providing false information to a state police officer.

Douglas Cody Pancake, 24, of Ellamore, was indicted on four felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.

• Bruce Lee Wilmoth, 26, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school and one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance.

• Donald Ray Bibey, 31, of Buckhannon, was indicted on three felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

• Andrew David Harris, 20, of Buckhannon, was indicted on three felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

• Michael Ray Confere, 42, of Buckhannon, was indicted on two felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

• Zachery Crawford, 23, of Buckhannon, was indicted on two felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

• George Washington Foster, 35, of Buckhannon, was indicted on two felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

• Bobby Ray Johnson, 26, of Buckhannon, was indicted on two felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

• Brittany Ann Lane, 24, of Buckhannon, was indicted on two felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

• Samantha Lantz, 24, of Buckhannon, was indicted on two felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

• Steven J. Riffle, 25, of Buckhannon, was indicted on two felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

• Kenneth D. Warner, 45, of Buckhannon, was indicted on two felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

• Delbert Calvin Ware, 65, of Belington, was indicted on one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance.

• Darlene Marie Hill, 36, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony count of delivery of a controlled substance.

• Jacob Thomas Johnson, 24, of Elkins, was indicted on one felony count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, one misdemeanor count of DUI – narcotic and one misdemeanor count of driving while license suspended or revoked.

• Garrett Seth Shreve, 29, of Buckhannon, was indicted on two felony counts of nighttime burglary, one felony count of grand larceny, one felony count of conspiracy and one misdemeanor count of destruction of property.

• Eric A. Hanna, 31, of Charleston, was indicted on one felony count of daytime burglary.

• Brandon Harrison Cable, 22, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony count of entry of a building other than dwelling, one felony count of conspiracy, one felony count of grand larceny and one misdemeanor count of breaking and entering an automobile.

• Junior Donovan Smith, 21, of Belington, was indicted on one felony count of entry of building other than dwelling, one felony count of conspiracy, one misdemeanor count of petit larceny and one misdemeanor count of breaking and entering an automobile.

• Austin Lee Posey, 18, of Buckhannon, was indicted on 17 felony counts of fraudulent use of an access device and one felony count of conspiracy.

• Brandon Levi Wagoner, 19, of Buckhannon, was indicted on 17 felony counts of fraudulent use of an access device and one felony count of conspiracy.

• Nicholas A. Davis, 38, of Weston, was indicted on four felony counts of fraudulent use of an access device and one felony count of fraudulent scheme.

• Jessicanna D. Bennett, 35, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony count of fraudulent schemes and one felony count of grand larceny.

• Mark Elliott McCoy Jr., 30, of Horner, was indicted on three felony counts of fraudulent use of an access device.

• Harley Lee Gregory, 26, of Buckhannon, was indicted on two felony counts of fraudulent use of an access device and one felony count of shoplifting, third or subsequent offense.

• Sarah Anne Mathes, 41, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony count of forgery.

• Thomas Lee Casto, 40, of Volga, was indicted on two felony counts of domestic battery, third or subsequent offense.

• David Mark Payne, 59, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony count of driving while license revoked for DUI, third or subsequent offense.

• Joshua Elton Shipman, 41, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony count of driving while license revoked for DUI, third or subsequent offense.

• Robert H. Sprouse Jr., 62, of Rock Cave, was indicted on one felony count of driving while license revoked for DUI, third or subsequent offense.

• Christopher John Thrain, 47, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony count of driving while license revoked for DUI, third or subsequent offense.

• Nicholas Lee Ailport, 31, of Morgantown, was indicted on one felony count of driving while license revoked for DUI, third or subsequent offense.

• Kristy Lane Vankirk, 36, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one felony count of shoplifting, third or subsequent offense, one misdemeanor count of fraudulent scheme, one misdemeanor count of driving while license revoked, second offense, and one misdemeanor count of reckless driving.

• Justin James Blosser, 28, of Morgantown, was indicted on one felony count of shoplifting, third or subsequent offense.

• Sara Elizabeth Matheny, 33, of Lost Creek, was indicted on one misdemeanor count of shoplifting, second offense.

Presentations were made to an Upshur County grand jury by Upshur County Prosecuting Attorney David E. Godwin. Circuit Judge Kurt Hall presided.

An indictment is merely an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
