BRUCETON — Round Seven of Paul Koontz’s Full Throttle Championship Harescramble Series is slated to take place Saturday. However, the race will not take place at Swamp Run in Masontown.

“Due to circumstances beyond my control, we will not be able to race this Saturday at Swamp Run,” Koontz announced on his Facebook page Wednesday afternoon. “The parking field hay has not been cut and will not be cut in time for the event. I apologize for any inconvenience.”

Koontz contacted land owners and gave the riders a choice.

“Racers, it’s up to you. Our only option is to go back to Shady Grove Off Road Park in Bruceton Mills for this Saturday’s race. Let’s take a vote!” Koontz added.

The majority of the racers voted “Yes,” with some saying “A race is a race, doesn’t matter where it is.”

When the voting ended, Koontz announced that Round Seven will take place at Shady Grove Off Road Park in Bruceton Saturday.

Racers of all ages, riding ATV’s and dirt bikes, are invited to attend. Gates will open at 7:30 a.m.
