Harman sprints past Union, 59-46
MT. STORM — Sheridan Bonner, Jamen Dudley and Kaylee Dudley all reached double digits in scoring Thursday, to lead Harman High School past Union, 59-46, in girls varsity basketball action.
“We started off slow,” HHS coach Todd Raines said. “We worked the ball inside really well. They couldn’t stop Sheridan. She keeps getting better every day. We passed the ball great. We got them in foul trouble early in the game. All in all, we did really well on offense and defense.”
Bonner had an all-around outstanding game, notching 18 points, 25 rebounds and 5 blocked shots.
Teammate Jamen Dudley finished the game with 11 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists, while Kaylee Dudley racked up 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Other top performers for HHS included: Natalie Teter, 8 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals; Collette Knotts, 3 points, 3 assists and 3 steals; Rachel Spencer, 2 points; Megan Raines, 2 points; Emily Marple, 2 points; and Alison Warner, 2 points.
Lexi Sirk was the top scorer for Union with 21 points. Kiara Walden also played well, scoring 12 points.
Harman (3-3) will return to action on Friday to host Wood County Christian. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
