Lady Bucs drop Morgantown
TENNERTON — Class AAA Big 10 Conference based Buckhannon-Upshur captured a 63-55 win over sectional opponent Morgantown Monday to further the Lady Bucs’ post-season positioning while also being ranked No. 1 in AAA, and eyeing a fourth straight run at the playoffs while returning as AAA runner-up from a year ago.
“It’s always a tough game against Morgantown,” B-UHS coach Jeremy Maxwell said. “We hit a 12-0 run to start the fourth, and a couple senior leaders stepped up to make the plays necessary.”
