Sites nets 29 to lead ’Cats to win

BAKER – Marcus Sites fired in a career-high 29 points to lift Pendleton County to a 66-47 Potomac Valley Conference victory over East Hardy on Friday night.

Laird Sweet also reached double digits for the Wildcats (6-5) with 16 points.

Christian Dove tallied nine points for the Cougars (1-6), who trailed 34-22 at the halftime break and 49-33 after three.

East Hardy travels to Petersburg on Monday, while Pendleton County visits the Vikings on Wednesday evening in non-conference play.
