MILL CREEK — The Tygarts Valley Bulldogs baseball squad won both ends of a doubleheader against East Hardy Monday evening.

TVHS earned a 4-0 victory in the first game. Riley Tackett pitched an entire game shutout for the Bulldogs, scattering 6 hits and a pair of walks while racking up 6 strikeouts.

Ethan Lanham led TVHS at the plate with 2 hits and 2 RBIs.

In the second game, the Bulldogs crushed East Hardy 13-2 in 5 innings.

Jake Tackett picked up the win on the mound, allowing 5 hits and no runs over 4 innings, while striking out 4 batters.

Brandon Mahoney pitched an inning for the Bulldogs, giving up 3 hits and 2 runs and striking out 2.

Daniel White knocked in 3 runs for TVHS, while Logan George, Jake Tackett and Ethan Lanham tallied 2 RBIs each.

The Bulldogs, now 15-12 on the season, will host Petersburg today at 4:30 p.m.
