Pendleton wins pair over Paw Paw

PAW PAW –The Pendleton County Wildcats took both games of a doubleheader over Paw Paw on Tuesday.

In the first game Josh Alt was the winning pitcher, throwing two innings with three strike outs, one hit and one run allowed.

Kole Puffenberger went two for three at the plate with a double and four RBIs, Grant Evick went two for three with a double and two RBIs, Cameron Kisamore went two for four with two RBIs, Jared Lambert went two for two with a double and Joshua Wagoner went three for three with three RBIs.

The Wildcarts took the second game 15-1. Evic was the winning pitcher. He threw for three innings with three strike outs.

Timothy Thorne went two for three at the plate with a home run and five RBIs; Lambert went two for three with two doubles and an RBI; Evic, Puffenberger, Aiden Cooney and Joshua Parker all had doubles.

The Wildcats improved to 17-6 on the season and 8-1 in the Potomac Valley Conference. Pendleton will take on Shenandoah Academy today at 5 p.m.
