Valley Health Care welcomes new staff member

Valley Health Care Inc. has announced the addition a new provider to its staff.

Donielle S. Teter, MSN, APRN, NP-C, LNC, EMSA-RN, family nurse practitioner, has been welcomed to the health care team.

Teter is a native of Randolph County who graduated from Harman High School in 1997. She is the daughter of Jerry and Patty Teter of Harman and the granddaughter of the late James “Buzz” and Dorothy Teter and Marcella Moore of Harding and the late Albert Moore. She currently resides in Harman.

Teter is a 2000 graduate of Davis & Elkins College of Nursing. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2005 and her master’s degree in nursing administration in 2009 from Wheeling Jesuit University. She received her family nurse practitioner degree from Wheeling Jesuit in 2012.

Teter worked as a charge nurse in the emergency department at Davis Memorial Hospital for 12 years before starting with Valley Health Care. She has been employed part-time with Randolph County EMS since 1997 and is currently a paramedic. Teter is also a legal nurse consultant. She is specializing in family medicine.

Valley Health Care Inc. is a federally qualified health center located in Mill Creek and has served Randolph and the surrounding counties since 1991. Valley Health Care Inc. serves as a primary care facility and also provides walk-in services for minor illnesses and emergencies. An optometric physician, Dr. Adam Casseday, is on site to provide eye care services.
