Chamber offering annual scholarship

The Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce invites Randolph County graduating seniors to enter the Education Scholarship Program, which will award $1,500 in scholarships to qualified students. Applications and eligibility requirements may be picked up now in the guidance counselor office at all county high schools or the Chamber of Commerce office.

The Education Scholarship Program, now an annual Chamber project, is open to graduating high school seniors who are current residents of Randolph County and plan to attend a West Virginia college/university or trade school. The entry deadline is April..

The program’s goal is to recognize, honor and assist three Randolph County students with awards as they further their education and prepare for the challenging careers that lie ahead. The $500 scholarships will provide some financial support to students for the rising costs of higher education.
