Wesleyan announces slate for Social Justice Week
West Virginia Wesleyan College’s Center for Community Engagement & Leadership Development announces events for Social Justice Week 2013. This week is dedicated to education, empowerment and activism.
By focusing on a different issue every day, the CCE strives to educate Wesleyan students, faculty and the Buckhannon community about forms of injustice that occur locally and globally. Topics discussed include poverty, gender inequality, health and wellness. The week will conclude with a day of peace. A diverse representation of unique issues and organizations will be participating.
