WVU student named to president’s list

Chelsea Lynae Yeager, 19, of Beverly, has received the honor of being named to the president’s list at West Virginia University for the fall 2012 semester. She is a sophomore majoring in pre-pharmacy.

To qualify for this honor, a student must have completed 12 hours of credits or more of graded classes and had a perfect 4.0 grade point average with no incompletes.

Yeager is a 2011 graduate of Elkins High School, where she graduated in the top 10 percent of her class.

She is the daughter of Jerry and Angie Yeager of Beverly, and she is the granddaughter of Sterling and Zelma Yeager of Elkins, Nellie Shiflett of Mill Creek and the late Carroll F. “Puch” Shiflett.
