Two Wesleyan students receive scholarships

West Virginia Wesleyan College students nabbed two more scholarships at the 2013 Teaming to Win Conference, which took in Morgantown.

Kayla Hinkley, of Hurricane, and Felicia Goldizen, of Petersburg, were the recipients of a $1,000 business scholarship.

Eligible students must be rising sophomores or juniors who are pursuing a degree in business administration. A minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrated leadership potential are required.

The Robert H. Mollohan Family Charitable Foundation administers this scholarship on behalf of Teaming to Win Inc. The agency’s purpose is to provide business support conferences, educational activities, promotional forums, networking resources, work force and business growth opportunities. The organization’s charitable purpose is to advance and improve small business prospects in West Virginia and to facilitate educational opportunities which promote higher business standards, methods and practices.
