Fashion runway show to benefit several local charities

This week, internationally known designers are heading to Elkins to be a part of the Che’Bella Boutique Fall for Fashion Charity Runway Show. Che’Bella is a ladies’ fine apparel retailer, which offers couture evening and pageant gowns, cocktail, business and casual attire.

The designers will be attending the runway show on Saturday, Sept. 7 at the new Randolph County Armed Forces Reserve Center, and will be participating in a meet-and-greet during the VIP after-party. Confirmed designers to date are those from Elana Collection, Mac Duggal, Su’san Couture and Teri John.

Elana Collection designs incorporate the finest yarns, Swarovski elements, exquisite laces and other elaborate detailing. In addition, all garments are proudly created and manufactured in the United States.

Positioned at the high end of the women’s special occasion dress market, Mac Duggal’s artistic, modern and luxurious designs have couture-inspired fit and sizing. From Gwyneth Paltrow to the crowning achievements on Miss America and Miss USA, the brand has gained significant media prominence and celebrity buzz.

Su’san Couture, a specialty women’s collection designed by Che’Bella Boutique owner and former Miss West Virginia, Susan Wingfield, includes day and evening wear that flatters a variety of shapes. The collection offers one-of-a-kind garments that you won’t see on anyone else.

Teri John specializes in dazzling, affordable luxury apparel. Designer Rickie Freeman makes sure that every item Teri Jon produces has the same features: distinctive style, excellent quality and unequaled craftsmanship, all combined with genuine value.

The charity fashion show will benefit two area nonprofits – Women’s Aid in Crisis and Catholic Charities of West Virginia. Women’s Aid in Crisis provides comprehensive services to female, male and youth victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking in a six-county area. Catholic Charities of W.Va. works to alleviate poverty, distress and injustice through basic needs and emergency assistance, disaster response, parish social ministries and adult learning.

A limited number of tickets are still available. General admission tickets are $40 each. VIP tickets, which include the designer meet-and-greet after-party, are $60 each. Formal attire is requested.
