It is our pleasure to support the efforts of a community dedicated to building a strong future for our area.”
This week, Points of Light, the National Conference on Citizenship, announced The Civic 50 for 2013, and Weyerhaeuser is ranked with companies such as Adobe Systems, FedEx, General Electric, Microsoft and Southwest Airlines.
The Civic 50 is the only survey and ranking system focused solely on corporate involvement in communities. Points of Light and the National Conference on Citizenship are America’s leading experts on civic engagement, and their survey identifies and recognizes companies that invest talent, time and resources to improve the quality of life in the communities where they do business.
Weyerhaeuser’s Giving Fund is committed to nourishing the quality of life in the communities where it operates – making better places to live, work, and play. Since 1948, the Weyerhaeuser Company has provided over $216 million in donations to its communities.
