Philippi library announces holiday programs

In addition to the Preschool Story Hour, the Philippi Public Library will be hosting “Pajamarama Night at the Library” in the upcoming holiday season.

Weekly Preschool Story Hour sessions are Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The library staff invites children ages 3 through 12 to don their pajamas and come to the library for “Pajamarama” on Dec. 20, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. to participate in a night of Christmas stories, crafts, cookies and lots

of fun.

Parents must accompany their small children for these events. Space is limited. Please call the library at 304-457-3495 or stop by the circulation desk to register children for these events or others at the Philippi Public Library.

The Philippi Public Library will be closed Dec. 24 and 25, so the staff may enjoy the Christmas holiday.

The library will be open Dec.31 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and will close at that time and will be closed through Jan. 1 for the New Year holidays.

Because of the holidays, the Preschool Story Hour programs will resume Jan. 8, 2014.
