Philippi Library announces programs

In addition to the Preschool Story Hour, the Philippi Public Library will be hosting “Pajamarama Night @ the Library.” Weekly Preschool Story Hour sessions are held on Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The library staff invites children ages 3 through 12 to don their pajamas and come to the library for “Pajamarama” on Dec. 20 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to participate in a night of Christmas stories, crafts, cookies, and lots of fun.

Parents must accompany their small children for these events. Space is limited. Please call the library at 304-457-3495 or stop by the Circulation Desk to register children for these events or others at the Philippi Public Library.

The Philippi Public Library will be closed on Dec. 24, through Dec. 25, so the staff may enjoy the Christmas holiday. The library will be open on Dec. 31, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and will close at that time and will be closed through Wednesday January 1, for the New Year holidays.

Because of the holidays, the Preschool Story Hour programs will resume on Jan. 8.
