Teter CEOS group hosts Christmas party

Teter Community Educational Outreach Society met at the Episcopal Church Hall at noon Dec. 12 for its Christmas party and gift exchange.

Hostesses Betty Oldaker, Caroline Carpenter and Cheryl Gaunt arranged a wonderful Christmas dinner with beautiful decorations.

Following dinner, the members were entertained by the Singing Sisters, a group of women, who performed and then led the club members in singing Christmas songs and carols.

Shelia Dawell led devotions with a reading titled “Handmade Christmas.”

Millie Hornbeck read “Unto us a Child is Born,” and Vonnie Hager read “Whoever gets the Son gets Everything.”

Caroline Carpenter and Cheryl Gaunt sang “When Christ was Born.”

There was a gift exchange and many door prizes and favors were given out.
