Annual Giving Campaign announced

BELINGTON – The Good Samaritan Society – Barbour County recently launched its 2014 annual fund campaign titled, “A Legacy of Generations.”

During the annual campaign, enhancements and expansions to the building and its services will be completed to provide high quality and dynamic healthcare options for inpatient services.

“Residents depend on the quality of care which in turn increases their quality of life,” said Emil Suder, director of resource development. “By picking a suitable theme for this year’s campaign, we can echo the voices of the residents and their love for the services, the staff, and the purpose of the Society far into the future.”

“Our residents appreciate each and every one that comes to visit with them,” said Dion Wagoner, the center’s administrator. “With having a dynamic healthcare facility that provides skilled-nursing opportunities to our residents, we know that they are well on their way to having a great life.”

Projects for the annual campaign include the enhancements of the courtyard to provide areas for residents and their families to visit, the expansion of the physical therapy program, and other numerous projects.

“Our physical therapy program is becoming a popular aspect of our facility,” Wagoner added. “We have certified occupational, speech, and physical teams to help the residents be successful.”

Individuals, families and businesses that wish to participate in the annual fund campaign are encouraged to call Suder at 304-823-2555 or email esuder@good-sam.com.
