Garden Program to accept applications

Starting April 7, North Central West Virginia Community Action Association Inc. will begin accepting applications for the 2014 Garden Program.

Completed applications must be returned to North Central WV Community Action by no later than 4 p.m. April 18.

Income-eligible individuals and families can apply to receive free seeds, plants and fertilizer for their home vegetable garden. Interested applicants are also encouraged to take advantage of the free soil testing program provided through the local West Virginia University Extension Service office.

Applications for the Garden Program are available at the Randolph County Office of North Central WV Community Action, 938 S. Davis Ave. in Elkins. Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
