Humanities Council elects new members

CHARLESTON – The West Virginia Humanities Council elected three new members to its board of directors during the spring board meeting on April 11 in Bridgeport. The Council also elected new officers.

New members include Susan Hardesty of Morgantown. An alumna of the West Virginia University Division of Music and founder of the WVU Mountaineer Parents Club, Hardesty has served on numerous boards throughout the state.

Also elected were Gerald Milnes of Elkins and Lisa Welch of Shepherdstown. Milnes is the former folk arts coordinator of the Augusta Heritage Center.
