Slide repair work to begin
BURLINGTON – The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that a portion of Jordan Run Road (Grant County Route 28/7) will be reduced to one lane for a slide repair project beginning May 12.
The section of road that will be affected is between North Fork Highway (state Route 28 and 55) and Dolly Sods Road (Parks and Forest Route 19), locally known as “Manuel Hill.”
A stop light will be in place to direct traffic 24 hours a day, seven days a week, until the project is finished. Work is estimated to be completed by June 30.
Questions concerning this project should be directed to the District Five Headquarters in Burlington at 304-289-3521.
