Area senior center set to offer events
The Mountain Top Outpost of the Tucker County Senior Citizens will cost a covered dish lunch at 10:30 a.m. June 17. Plan to attend and bring a covered dish to share.
Seniors will have four opportunities in June for a blood pressure check. Mountain Hospice will check pressures at the Mountain Top Outpost on Monday and Hospice Care will provide checks on Thursday. The Parsons Center Blood Pressure Clinic, sponsored by Hospice Care is slated for June 17, and pressures will be checked by Mountain Hospice on June 18.
The Parsons Center will not offer any Swinging to the Music sessions in June, but Linda will be at the Mountain Top Center on June 16 and 23 for light exercise sessions.
There are still a few more seats for the Sept. 17 baseball game at PNC Park where the Pirates will take on the Boston Red Sox. It is a night game, and the plan is to stay overnight in Pittsburgh.
Four reservations are still available for the Aug. 5-6 trip to Lancaster, Pa. Amish County and the Sights and Sounds Theater.
