PBHS students attend conference

Philip Barbour High School’s Future Business Leaders of America organization recently participated at the state leadership conference in Charleston.

More than 10 Philip Barbour students competed during this two-day event, where five individuals were awarded for their skills.

Placing first were Michaela Ferguson and Bryce McGee in the digital video production category. Caleb Arbaugh, Kelsea Pingley and Caleb Sanders finished second in game simulation and programming. These students are now eligible to attend the national leadership conference in Nashville, Tenn. from June 29 to July 2.

The cost for each student to attend the conference is approximately $1,100, which includes travel, hotel room and food. Any donation you could make to these students would be greatly appreciated. Officials are truly proud of these individuals and their hard work.
