Alzheimer’s Association set to host workshop
The Alzheimer’s Association West Virginia Chapter will offer a free community workshop for caregivers and others who are interested in information regarding “The Basics of Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia.” The one-hour workshop will at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 4 at the Elkins Public Library, located at 416 Davis Ave. in Elkins.
The workshop is an introduction to the fundamentals of Alzheimer’s disease and is designed to help families and caregivers gain a better understanding of Alzheimer’s disease, warning signs, diagnosis and the latest information in research. The workshop is open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend.
