Authors to sign books at Main Line

You may have heard about the case on “Dateline,” “Dr. Phil!” or, most recently, last week on “20/20.” The disappearance and savage murder of Skylar Neese have been all over local and national news since July 2012. Eight months after she disappeared, her remains were publicly identified, and her two best friends, Shelia Eddy and Rachel Shoaf, pled guilty to stabbing her to death. You are invited to Main Line Books in Elkins to meet the authors and discuss the case.

Featuring firsthand interviews with those close to the case and written in cooperation with the victim’s parents, Dave and Mary Neese, “Pretty Little Killers: The Truth Behind the Savage Murder of Skylar Neese” is the most comprehensive, detailed and in-depth source on the Skylar Neese murder.

Daleen Berry and Geoffrey C. Fuller will be available to meet the public and sign copies of their newest book from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday at Main Line Books, 301 Davis Ave.

Stabbed so savagely she was almost decapitated, Neese was left bloody on the side of the road, buried beneath rocks and branches. The community was stunned when Rachel Shoaf confessed to Neese’s murder. The budding actress and singer accused the third member of the inseparable trio, Shelia Eddy, of being the ringleader. People were even more shocked to learn the murder was not a crime of sudden rage-but premeditated.

Daleen and Geoff will also be appearing at the Bridgeport Public Library July 29 at 5 p.m.
