AB to commemorate 9/11 with program

PHILIPPI – Alderson Broaddus University will commemorate the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks against the United States on Thursday, Sept. 11.

Students, faculty, administrators and staff will gather at the fountain in front of Burbick Hall, and a moment of silence will occur at 8:46 a.m., the time of impact on the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York.

Dr. Timothy DeWitt, professor of music, will lead student trumpeters in playing “Amazing Grace” from the four corners of the campus quadrangle to mark the event.
