Elkins Auto ‘Drive for the Kids’ event Saturday

Midland Elementary School PTA President Morgan Nucilli stands with Jim Jackson, owner of Elkins Auto, with a Chrysler Pacifica that will be made available for test drives at the Drive for the Kids event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Midland Elementary School.

ELKINS – Midland Elementary School has partnered with Elkins Auto in hopes of attracting members of the community to participate in an interactive school fundraiser.

This Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., members of the community are invited to Midland Elementary School to take part in the “Drive for the Kids” event where they can have the chance to test drive a Chrysler Pacifica.

Through the school’s partnership with Elkins Auto, parents and community members will have the opportunity to assist Midland Elementary School by test driving a Chrysler vehicle.

The Chrysler initiative – Drive for the Kids – has been working to assist schools across the country for more than 20 years by providing a $10 contribution to participating schools for each individual test drive.

In addition to the Drive for the Kids fundraiser, the school will be offering a pepperoni roll and macaroni and cheese lunch from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Midland Elementary.

Tickets for the luncheon can be purchased on Saturday at Midland Elementary School.

Any test-drive participant will be entered into the 2016 FCA US National Giveaway for a chance to win $45,000 that can be used towards an eligible vehicle from any one of the Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram Truck, FIAT and Alfa Romeo brands. One winner’s name will be drawn in 2017.
