Law enforcement, ATF execute raid
ELKINS – At least two individuals were transported after multiple law enforcement agencies raided a residence on Wilson Street in Elkins Wednesday morning.
Officers with the Elkins Police Department, Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, West Virginia State Police Special Response Team and Mountain Region Drug and Violent Crime Task Force responded to 461 Wilson St.
Officials said the search was related to a report of controlled substances, but it is unknown at this time if there were firearms or any other items located.
The Elkins Police Department is leading the investigation. The sheriff’s office mobile command unit was utilized, and Randolph County EMS assisted at the scene.
