ELZA-CARR: The Elza-Carr family reunion will begin at noon today at Elkins City Park. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish. For more information, call 304-636-7653 or 304-704-4260.

THOMASON: The fifth annual Thomason family reunion will be today, rain or shine, at the late Ray Thomason’s farm located on Long Run. All descendants of Martin and Izora Thomason are invited to attend. Those attending are asked to bring their favorite side dish to share and an item for the raffle. Paper products, meat, utensil and drinks will be furnished.

HALLER: The 36th annual reunion of the descendants of William “Jack” and Cordilla (Shaffer) Haller will be Sunday at the Nestorville Community Building. A covered-dish luncheon will be served at 12:30 p.m. Meat and dinner ware will be provided. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish, a dessert or drink(s) and items for a cakewalk. Also, there will be a silent auction. Door prizes will be given away.

MALLOW/HENDRICKS: The Mallow/Hendricks reunion will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Elkins City Park. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish. For more information, call 304-924-6603.

ROWAN: The annual Rowan reunion will be Sunday at the Rowan Memorial United Methodist Church in Mabie. A covered-dish dinner will be served at approximately 1 p.m. with a short business meeting and program to follow. During the last business meeting, it was proposed to discontinue the reunion. Therefore, tentatively, this will be the last Rowan reunion.

SMITH: The annual Laban Smith family reunion will begin at noon Sunday at the Mountain Farm in Harman. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish to share and an item for the auction.

WEAVER NAZARENE CHURCH: Weaver Nazarene Church will host its homecoming service beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday. A meal will follow around noon. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish. Singing will be provided by Save by Grace.

LEWIS: The 2018 Lewis family reunion for relatives of George and Nora Mealy Lewis will be Aug 25 at the Selbysville 4-H Camp. There will be a short meeting before we at noon. Meat will be provided. Those attending are asked to bring a side dish, photos to share and an item for the silent action tables, if you would like. HARRISON COMMUNITY CHURCH: Harrison Community Church will host its homecoming Aug. 26 at the church in Mabie. Sunday school will begin at 10 a.m. Dinner will be served at 12:30 a.m. followed by a worship service at 2:30 p.m. Sean Barnett is pastor of the church.

MT. CARMEL BAPTIST CHURCH: Mt. Carmel Baptist Church will celebrate its annual homecoming Aug. 26 at the church located beside Randolph County 4-H camp in Beverly. All members, past members and public are invited to this special day. The special service will start at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary, with a special dinner to follow after the service in the fellowship hall. Those attending are asked to bring drinks or a dessert to share.

FINCHAM: The reunion of family and friends of John W. Fincham will begin at 1 p.m. Sept. 1 at Wegman Park in Adolph. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and an item for the cakewalk.

FLANAGAN HILL CHURCH AND SCHOOL: The Flanagan Hill Homecoming and School Reunion will be Sept. 1 at the Flanagan Hill Community Center in Red Creek on Route 72. Social time will begin at 3 p.m. followed by a covered-dish dinner at 5 p.m. Meat and drinks will be provided. Those attending are asked to bring a dish to share. Everyone is welcome regardless if you attended church or school here.

NELSON: The descendants of Sammy K. Nelson will host the annual Nelson family reunion beginning at noon Sept. 1 at the pavilion behind the Methodist Church in Whitmer. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring covered dishes, drinks and an item for the cakewalk and silent auction.

HAYMOND: The annual Haymond reunion will be Sept. 2 at the Arlington Community Building. Dinner will start at 1 p.m. Table service will be provided.

HIGGINS: The Higgins family reunion will begin at 11 a.m. Sept. 2 at Camp Pioneer near Beverly. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish.

MOATS/COLLINS: The Moats/Collins reunion will begin at noon Sept. 2 at Riverbend Park pavilion. The descendants of Maxwell Merrill and Bessie Collins Moats and John and Rosie Walker Collins will meet to share a meal and reunite with family and friends. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and an item for the auction table. Table service; plates, silverware, cups etc. will be provided.

SPONAUGLE: The reunion of family and friends of the Sponaugle family will be Sept. 1 at the Historic Circleville School. Lunch will begin at noon. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish.

THOMPSON: The reunion of family and friends of the late Dillon and Hettie Thompson will be Sept. 2 at the home of Hugh Thompson in Sully. Lunch will be at 1 p.m. Meat, drinks and eating utensils will be provided. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish.

BAILEY SCHOOL: The Bailey School has been in existence for 150 years, and alumni and friends will gather for a potluck picnic on the school grounds at 5 p.m. Sept. 8. CHENOWETH: The 104th Chenoweth reunion will be Sept. 1 at the Chenoweth Shelter on the Chenoweth Creek Road. Registration will begin at 11 a.m. with lunch at noon.
