God’s word is truth

“For the word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discern of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12.

Jesus is described as follows: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and Word was God …. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:1, 14. The Word is powerful.

The Apostle Paul wrote the inspired words, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16. Trusting faith in Jesus is seen by obedience to the gospel of Jesus Christ, “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.” Ephesians 1:23.

There is power in God’s word. Why not “receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls?” James 1:21. Contact us.
