Anderson is new ski school director

DAVIS – Timberline Four Seasons Resort has announced it has a new ski school director, John Anderson.

Anderson has a bachelor of arts degree in International studies and a masters in business administration degree from West Virginia University. He also studied German while attending a semester at Salzburg University in Austria. Anderson has deep roots at Timberline, starting there in 1992 as a line instructor. He earned a PSIA Level III certification and accepted the position of assistant ski school director at Timberline in 1998. Anderson also partners with the United States Ski Association, holding USSA certifications as an Alpine Coach, Alpine Official, Chief of Race, and referee. In 2015, Anderson accepted the head coaching position of The Timberline Race Team.

“At the Timberline Ski School, our goal is to create lifelong snow sports enthusiasts,” Anderson said.  “The goal of many Snow sports enthusiasts is to become all mountain riders and skiers.  Climbing the pyramid of skill levels is both challenging and fun. We at the ski school, are here to facilitate that journey so our customers will want to return again and again.”
