ELKINS — Donna K. Mouser, assistant treasurer, is retiring from Davis Trust Company with more than 47 years of service.
The Board of Directors and management of Davis Trust Company are pleased to recognize the dedicated service of Mouser who will be retiring on Friday.
Mouser started with Davis Trust Company in June 1969. At the time of her retirement, she will be the longest-serving active employee at the bank. Her career started in the bookkeeping department as a file clerk and proof machine operator. Her next assignment was on the teller line and later she served as head teller. She was promoted to assistant treasurer in 1985. Mouser enjoys working with customers and could be counted on for courteous and professional service.
Over her career, she has been involved in many community activities, including the Third Ward School PTA, where she served as treasurer. She also was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi social sorority and an active member of the Elkins High School Band Auxiliary.
Mouser enjoyed the many years spent with her husband, Mike, helping him display his woodworking crafts at shows throughout the area. Asked what she is most proud of in her life, she quickly responded, her daughter, Tonya. In her spare time Mouser enjoys reading, spending time with friends and visiting in Florida with Tonya and her husband, George.
